Staying hydrated can avoid muscle weakness and laziness, and it'll also strengthen your numb frame! Fluid conditioning is essential to maintaining your core temperature reliably and in turn keeping you warm! A few nutrients masquerade as solid nutrition but are just as awful as crappy nutrition.
