The fight against this disease is intense and requires all the mental, emotional, physical, and social resources a family can muster.  Even though my daughter's disease was in her mind and body before she was diagnosed, after the disease took over her body, she wanted to kill herself.  First, every child/person/patient is different and must be tailored to the individual needs of your child.
